I remember being in elementary school, and I had shown my teacher an assignment in which I did a drawing for. She asked me if I had created it myself, and told me she thought it was really good. That is where my love of art started to come to light.
I grew up in Oshawa, Ontario, and I graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design in the spring of 2008 with my major being Drawing and Painting. My favourite artists include Salvador Dali and Frida Kahlo. I love art history, and learning of the story behind the paintings. My favourite periods for art are more modern, including: Dada, Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism, and Pop Art. More recently, I have fallen in love with baking and decorating cakes and cupcakes.
